Originally conceived by Tobia Scarpa in 1963, the Seki-Han is an enduring expression of his extraordinary mastery of both design and craft. Drawing on refined naval construction techniques, two horizontal ash wood blades joined by polished chromed metal fittings rotate around a slender central light source, revealing a delicate sliver of illumination that lends the piece an almost poetic quality. This 2025 reissue introduces an elegant suspension model, allowing both direct and indirect light in symmetrical or asymmetrical distribution. Available with a custom dimmable linear LED source or standard T8 LED tubes, Seki-Han remains a captivating dialogue between the warmth of natural wood and the ethereal nature of light.
