Seki-Han Floor Lamp

Named after a cherished Japanese ceremonial rice dish, the Seki-Han Floor Lamp carries a sense of occasion in both spirit and form. Originally designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and reissued in 2025, two vertical ash wood blades joined by chromed metal fittings rotate around a slender central light source. Even when almost fully closed, a delicate sliver of light persists, lending the piece a quietly poetic presence. A raw black iron base, separated from the blades by a refined collar, anchors the composition. Compatible with a custom dimmable linear LED or standard T8 LED tubes.
