The original three-dimensional shape is now molded in modernhard/ soft foam with a pure new wool covers, the easily identifiable serpentine curves are now more comflable, and the sterling S Chair has been crafted in a new manufacturing technique to fit recent advances in manufacturing technology, and is now manufactured by the iconic furniture company Capellini in Italy.It is now proud to be found on its cast-iron frame, inspired by its steering wheel. The thrilling A·S adventures are set to continue in the near future in various historical iterations in its permanent collections of museums from the New Yorker MOMA to the LondonV&A.
