Wellbeing Rug

Wellbeing Rug is the entity that serves the human experience by reinforcing textile goods. Tactility, materiality, skill and consistency are the subject of all things. They bring energy, softness, comfort and a connection with the senses in indoors. The series uses traditional techniques and intricate details that create a special character. The Wellbeing collection uses hand-Afghan wool, jutting, linen, Tussar, cork, wood, raw wool and raw cotton, carefully made by the Nanimarquina’s team, to the nearest where the pieces of the collection are made, using traditional craftsmen and local craftsmen who have worked a long time with Nanimarquina. Nanimarquina and Ilse Crawford began their partnership in April 2017. Real, organic and local fibres, handspun, no bleach and no colouration, were the requirements for the collection. Those criteria set a profound investigative process for Nanimarquina and contribute to a conscious, human-centred, visual, and beautiful result. The team begins working with a wide variety of materials. The new products have represented a step forward in the expertise acquired in rug making by Nanimarquina’s team.
