Product Description
Most Bauhaus-era architects and furniture designers aimed to provide the “average man” with well-designed homes and impeccably crafted furnishings. In 1955, Barba Corsini, a pioneering functionalist architect, realized his modern dream by renovating the loft and custom-designed furnishings for “La Pedrera.” Corsini was a great admirer of Finnish architecture which, because of the powerful elegance of the designs, he considered to be the finest in Europe. Strong simplicity’ is also an apt definition of the personal design style of Corsini, as described by the series Pedrera. The coffee table at Pedrera is modern as well as traditional.
