Their design was sent to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture for a competition, and they won first prize.

The Setago comes with a story, like many Jaime Hayona s bits. “Swiss word” sets the stage for this eccentric table lamp’s diminutive mushroom proportions. Yet an additional hint of its identification is identified with suffixing ‘go’s, because it can go practically anywhere without being burdened by an electric cord. Instead of stationary movements, they have been quickly picked up from the floor like leaflets and carried from one room to the next. It only needs to be connected to a USB cable to recharge.
The specifics have been carefully considered in other aspects of Setago. Inspired by the artistic style of a Japanese lantern, Hayon merged the superior skill of his cord-free design with very modern capabilities. Despite such technical integration, work is still secret to keep the lamps form clean and uncluttered. The light that it creates is just as critical as the atmosphere, “then a discreet dimmer of brass controls the diffused ambient light is controlled.
