Mategot Nagasaki Chair

The organic forms and lightness of touch of Mathieu Matigot generate a sense of joy and the creative and revolutionary methods he used result in artistic and, most of all, modern designs. The Nagasaki chair is once one of a few three-legged versions, and is now the best-known piece by Matigot and is included in the Vitra Design Museum permanent exhibition.
