Little Petra Lounge Chair

&Tradition

Little Petra Lounge Chair. Initially presented in 1938 Little Petra received immediate recognition for exhibitors in New York and Berlin during the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Series, which subsequently earned awards. It’s one of only a few designs by Viggo Boesen architect, who was associated with Danmark’s aesthetics of signature design in the 1930s called funkis style. A lighter, more abundant organic aesthetic, which questioned Bauhaus ‘ minimalist approach. Named after Boesen’s mother-in-law, Little Petra Lounge Chair is in fact very small, and can fit into all sorts of rooms.Low to the table, open and inclusive, it encompasses the essence of a lounge chair, which offers all forms of sitting places in any cosy setting. Much testing has been undertaken to make the seat and upholstery as convenient as possible. The legs in the chair have been constructed from oak or walnut in honour of Boesena s appreciation of natural materials. As a consequence, you are struck by a delectable lounge chair.
