The BEETLE Chair Collection is a laminated-moulded veneer chair collection in two divided sections with a bench and back. The 2 pieces are joined together with a fitting made from steel milled into the 2 shells. Shells are around 10 mm thick. The chair is still completely upholstered with a pilpling made of cloth or leather.

The imaginative impetus of GamFratesi stems from a breakdown of tradition and rebirth and from an experimental approach to the materials and techniques chosen. The two of them draw on the Danish classical furnishings, traditional art and classically Italian theoretical and philosophical approach, Stine Gam (born in 1975) and Enrico Fratesi (born 1978). Recognizing a tradition and consciously discussing it in the classroom enables extending. We build furniture that respectfully represents heritage from this cross-cultural substratum, while featuring specific tales, symbols and connections that are often articulated in a minimalistic language.
