This unique collection of upholstered parts was created by Kerstin H. Holmquist. She was working in a furniture workshop and architect studio where for one of her many exhibits she produced this series. She called her Paradiset-inspired pieces (Swedish for Eden or Paradise). The first item of the set was the feminine lounge chair-Eva and then his masculine counterpart, Adam, followed up. She has also later produced a sofa to complement the two.

The Domus Lounge Chair is part of a series that was created for the Domus Academia student housing complex in Helsinki. It was designed to be sat in for long periods of time and was rewarded a great success internationally.
