As a result of the union between the centuries-of blown glass and metal’s modern appeal, Metal Glass resembles the stills of an alchemist or a lantern from a gothic world. It is characterized by a thick and almost invisible transparency which is accomplished by pouring soda powder into the vitreous paste which is still incandescent. The consequent chemical reaction produces a multitude of bubbles which, when the lamp is on, are transformed into luminous particles. Mirror Ball Stand Chandelier
One of the most popular items from Tom Dixon influenced by the famous space helmet and disco balls. Mirror Ball is lightweight but durable, reflecting its environment, with lower ambient light. The Tripod stand comes in three different sizes: 25 cm, 40 cm and 50 cm. A total of seven gold shades are offered. The versatile range is also available in the original chrome finish and as slopes and has a light for all functions.
Miss K Table Lamp
The Miss K table lamp, developed by visionary designmaster Philippe Starck, gives its work an excellent duality. If unlight, the transparent PC (polycarbonate) external diffuser”that is internally finished with a slim metallic tint with high vacuum aluminization process”rests. If the light is lit, the diffuser is transparent and appears to be looking at a x-ray of a lamp. The lighting is lit. A fully transparent, injection-molded PMMA frame (Polymethyl methoacrylate, UL-94 HB) and internal PC (polycarbonate, UL-94 V0) opal injection molded diffusor are included with the Miss K. Mite Floor Lamp
