Blur Rug
The sequence of geometric shapes and repetition are definitive hallmarks of the Bouroullec brothers. Their mastery, meticulousness, and tireless ability to always go a step further, has led them to work on Blur, a collection that offers two different readings. When viewing the rug from afar, an indefinite, unfocused surface is apparent, that gives its name to the collection. Nevertheless, upon approaching the rug, lines and rhythmic rhombuses in different proportions are revealed, in the purest kinetic style. This blurred effect has been achieved by inverting the sense in which the kilims are traditionally woven, which makes the process much more laborious. This change in weaving causes the lines to be blurred, mixing two colours unevenly, creating an aged rug, reminiscent of the past.

Butterfly Rug
There is evidence to suggest that the first silk fabrics were produced around 3000 B.C. in ancient China. Coming from silkworms, silk is extraordinarily resistant and it is considered to be the longest filament produced by nature. Its structure reflects light at different angles, giving it a natural glow that, together with its soft and smooth texture, makes the carpets unique for their brightness and vivid colour.

Formosa Blue Rug
Created by the versatile and authentic artist Michael Lin, Formosa evokes the name 16th-century Portuguese sailors bestowed on the island of Taiwan. The rug’s delicate and attractive style combines Pop aesthetics with Taiwanese pictorial tradition. Following this tradition, it took three years of meticulous work to reproduce the subtle use of colour on wool that is characteristic of Lin, who specialises in transforming large, cold, and bland spaces into luminous organic fields filled with intense shades. The type of knot used for the Formosa make it 40% denser than other hand-knotted rugs, resulting in more weight and better quality. Pure harmony, in red or blue.

Ghost Rug
Mart Guix, a conceptual and unconventional design visionary, wished to revive the magic of classic Kerman rugs, breathing new life into the mythical pictorial motifs of birds, flowers, horses, and deer that appear and disappear like ghosts. A faithful rendition of the extraordinary simplicity and gravity to be found in this artist’s work. The Ghost rug combines shadows of black and white, a mysterious blend of past and present. The busy design and colour saturation of the pattern offer a contemporary twist on this traditional rug style, drawing you into the exuberance of the scene, so timeless and yet so fresh.

Herb Rug
The Herb collection stems from a deep admiration for nature and a great respect for fibres in their pure state. Made entirely with hand-spun hemp, each rug boasts all the benefits of this little known, but incredible, vegetable fibre. Resistant, durable, lightweight, and with an unbeatable thermal insulation, Herb is the coolest option for hot summers, and a source of heat in the middle of winter. The collection presents a design in simple colours yet at the same time with character, which minimalists will surely appreciate. The discontinuity in the thickness of the fibre is a direct result of the hand-spun hemp, influencing both the fabric and the irregular dyeing. This is a rug filled with vibrant life since the shine of Herb’s hemp will evolve over time. This fibre presents natural antibacterial properties, is biodegradable and free of toxins, as no harmful chemicals are used during cultivation. For this reason, Herb becomes the maximum expression of nature itself.
