IC Floor Lamp
The FLOS IC Floor Lamp is a balance case study. The artist Michael Anastatizades was inspired by the ability to rotate and movement the spheres around the body of the juggler after seeing a video clip by a touch juggler, and his starting point was to capture the moment when spheres appeared to freeze on his arms and bottom, which gave birth to an IC series. The well thought-out “flosophy” of the FLOS involves playing with light (and its absence). Combine this light experimentation and bold shape, material and LED development experiments— plus the iconic concepts of internationally renowned designers — and the result is poetic versatility at its finest.
