Crash and Bell are two lamps motivated by stringed instruments which are separate but interchangeable. Crash looks like a cymbal while Bell looks just like its title implies. Both are available in bronze or aluminum colors and are given a small condensed grooves surface treatment. Both use the same multi-faceted blown glass item resembling vintage glassware which projects beams of fragmented light on the metal surface of the diffuser while at the same time leaving the naked bulb in full view in a clear reference to the industrial world. As a twosome or in groups on their own, it’s this double-light effect that gives Crash & Bell its strong and unique effects.

Was it made of building blocks for toy? Was it a comic strip character? Perhaps a small home robot? Duii, influenced by one of Donald Duck’s friendly nephews, surprises and amuses because of his personality, beginning with his name. The base still recalls the foot of a duck but it can be used as a handy trinket tray as well. The articulated arm, held together through wing screws like Meccano parts, supports a rounded body with a diffuser, a shape which in turn recalls a multitude of memories and inspirations: retro car headlights, a hard hat for a man, but also the Diesel brand’s Mohican-style shaved head.
Motivated by casual wear, camp site tents and an relaxed, fun and creative lifestyle, the Fork lampshade. The design on the denim was made on jeans like this, and the rings are not only decorative, but with simplicity and immediacy respond to practical needs. The light inside shows a patchwork structure and canvas texture, a little like you switching on a light inside a tent. The lampshade is highly versatile, and can be 360¡ focused. The floor and table stand models are both very flexible thanks to their joints: this means you can change the direction of the light as you want, play with the lamp and still have fun finding new positions for it.
Like a little drop of volatile glass, the Glass drop seems to reflect the mysterious, fluid and solid form, right before it takes shape in the old glass blowing laboratory. The substance is both fluid and solid. In comparison, its aluminum finish is recognizably new, despite the high-tech material par excellence. A textured surface finish interacting with light in conjunction with its strength, color change and appearance.Aerial and useful, even when it is switched off, can be used for the decoration of a wide entrance, a stairwell or an area of reception, alone or in many horizontal structures, hanging over a long table in a home and over the counter in a common room, or vertically, at different rights. And Foscarini is once again offering the technological solution for making up to nine vertical lamps: the multi canopy blends function with the harmony of design, underlining the panoramic appearance of a glass drop cascade.
The Hexx table lamp is the output of a combination of two separate hexagonal prisms constructed of perforated glass, which overlap each other because the meshes of both objects do not cross. A basic idea that makes for a compelling play of color. To build unique ever-changing atmospheres, Hexx is designed with two light sources and a dual switch. The upper light source is guided upwards and provides practical light that shines by reflection, while the lower light source creates a beautiful luminous aura, creating patterns of light on the surface it is mounted on as well as on the walls.
As a result of the union between the centuries-of blown glass and metal’s modern appeal, Metal Glass resembles the stills of an alchemist or a lantern from a gothic world. It is characterized by a thick and almost invisible transparency which is accomplished by pouring soda powder into the vitreous paste which is still incandescent. The consequent chemical reaction produces a multitude of bubbles which, when the lamp is on, are transformed into luminous particles. Inside, the borosilicate glass cylinder spreads light when becoming part of the pattern.
