Adnet Circulairre
Jacques Adnet is an icon of French Modernism and a furniture designer best known for his Art Deco Modernist designs. Famous for its avant-garde designs, Adnet was among the first to incorporate metal and glass into the furniture structure and decor. His style represents the personification of luxury. Adnet formed a relationship with the French fashion house Hermes in 1950, where he created a range of leather-covered furniture and accessories for interior design. He did a round leather mirror with brass hinges, accordingly. In addition to the impressive leather and brass features, the mirror is also unusual in that the brace holding the mirror is in direct proportion to the mirror size.
Adnet Rectangulaire Wall Mirror
It comes out of Jaques Adnet’s collaboration with a popular French fashion House and a designer Jaques Adnet in 1950’s. Among them was the Adnet Rectangular Leather Mirror, a typical feature of Adnet’s work, packed with burnished brass rivets on the edges.

It adds depth, reflects light, extends horizons and produces a magical attraction.

A horizontal series of windows runs from one side to the other. In our quarters, we also wanted to echo this dimension.
