On December 9th, Pantone announced not only one, but two “colours of the year”. The two colours for 2021 are PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Grey and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating.

The two colours are said to be independent but complementary, symbolising a theme of unity and support. This palette combination represents optimism and resilience following an unmistakably challenging year.
