Tip Ton defines a whole new chair typology: the solid plastic chair with forward-tilt action. Its name refers to the dual sitting positions provided by the chair Ò from a normal position, Tip Ton can be tilted forward a few degrees where the chair then stays in place. The forward-tilt position, until now the preserve of mechanical office chairs, straightens the pelvis and spine and thus improves circulation to the abdominal and back muscles. Tip Ton is made of polypropylene and manufactured from a single mould without any mechanical components. This makes the chair extremely durable and 100% recyclable. Tip Ton can be stacked up to four chairs high and comes in eight different colours.
GamFratesi’s Tulou Table was inspired by the traditional design of a tray table and the extra functional dimension it offers. Comprising two basic elements – a spun steel round tray with a firm, easy-to-hold edge and a four-legged frame in tubular steel – the minimalistic design enables the tray to be moved around different spaces. Available in a variety of colours and finishes, its flexible design means it is suitable for use in a wide range of private and public contexts.
Tool lights up the rough vintage environment of factories and workshops, with shapes and materials derived from the pull of technology in its raw state. In fact, this lamp has been designed with a single rubber body, its form reminiscent of a foundry mould or a piece of engineering straight from the lathe. Transmitted is the impression of an object fresh off the assembly line and destined for a home environment unafraid to break with design and aesthetic conventions.
Sometimes the simplest things are the most lasting and memorable, the Topan Pendant being a brilliant example. It was the first mass produced lamp by Verner Panton, later to be followed by the FlowerPot. Topan’s simplicity and coolness proves to be of lasting value. Topan was originally designed for the hotel and restaurant Astoria in Trondheim, Norway, in 1960. Here, Panton used his textile designs Geometry I to IV for floors, walls and ceilings in order to give the room a uniform image. The Topan pendants hung all over, dividing large rooms into smaller and more intimate spaces.

A beautifully unified piece of design made from aluminium and opal glass. The base is a faceted cylinder that works as both the light switch and the stem that holds the spherical glass light in place. Turning the base in a clockwise direction clicks the LED light on, with further rotation increasing the lumen output. This movement built into the design, allows the user to intuitively brighten or dim the light. The base comes in four anodised finishes: black, green, orange and natural aluminum. Turn On is a design made at human scale, effortlessly simple and pleasing to touch. Supplied with integrated LEDs and 3m cable.
To Jrn Utzon, his father’s naval engineering drawings became a lifelong fascination with ships and boats, along with light. More than a decade before Jrn Utzon created his masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House, he put his child- hood fascination into this pendant, combining successfully the smoothness of the lines of a ship with the source of light for the first time. & The choice of white or polished chrome finish reminds one of the waves and the northern light.
